Okay, technically it isn't my birthday for five hours yet. However, I got my first package today~

Admittedly I was expecting presents when I saw I had a package waiting, but I'd have to say what it turned out to be was better - my family sent me a gooey butter cake for my birthday!

presumably if presents are going to come they'll be here tomorrow or next week

Would you like me to pick out stuff and have them delivered, or would you prefer just to have an online gift certificate from Amazon? Thought you'd prefer the gooey butter cake to one of those gift baskets from the delivery website the uni Mom's club pushes. Seems like they all are about 3/4ths stuff you don't care for / about.

Your strike out is correct; we're not going to make it up there at all. Besides, you've got that epic Changling thingummy tomorrow night anyway. Make them all buy you goodies or summat.
