First Post from the New Computer

Well, I finally have my new laptop! (after getting it two days late and taking a whole day to set up XP).

Have decided I'm probably going to need to get an external mouse; the track pad is driving me nuts.  Its sensitivity seems to fluctuate far too much, apart from anything else. And you scroll with two fingers, which it only seems to detect about half the time - I'm too used to having a scroll wheel.

Oh, well. Peripheral mice are cheap. I have my own computer, yay!

Well, it should take its time off of the internet - which, I suppose, it does. The problem is that there's a thing to specify the timezone, but it resets to GMT every time I close the Preferences menu.
