Look out, I've got another idea

Two actually.

One is very, very vague - a swords-and-sorcery type setting, but set further back - in the Roman Empire, actually. Good excuse for mythological monsters.

The other's a little more detailed - it'd end up basically as a dressing room-type thing. And it involves an idea poetesslaureate gave me a while ago. Namely Archmage!Pharaun.

How he got to be Archmage I'm not sure yet; either Aliisza resurrected him or he wasn't fool enough to go to Quenthel for help and just floated away until the paralyzing spell wore off. Either way, once he's Archmage he's been doing a bit of looking into the idea of alternate dimensions, and has found that there are lots of them. So he turns Menzoberranzan into a big universal crossroads, where people from everywhere get to meet - not just FR characters, everyone.

... Okay, neither idea's as clear as it could be, I'll admit. Welcoming advice here.

Dooooo it~ Although if you make it an RP, if the storyline focuses on him that heavily you'd almost have to make him be an/the NPC.

Probably, yeah. Then again, that doesn't preclude there being other Pharauns about~
