No, that's not a typo, I say it like that on purpose, just to be weird. I do a lot of stuff just to be weird. Like occasionally lapsing into lolcat-speak or Dogg.
Anyway, um, yes, I thought I might actually use this journal sometime. So, hi!
Pharaun Mizzrym: A drow wizard from the War of the Spider Queen books in the Forgotten Realms universe. He's unrepentantly evil, mildly perverted, very intelligent, extremely egocentric, and a bit of a smartass even beyond what you'd expect with that description. Has this bad habit of mouthing off at priestesses - bad idea in a theocracy, even worse one when the theocracy's matriarchal.
Zelgadiss Graywords: Formerly human, currently chimera. Swordsman and spellcaster, from the Slayers series (he's mostly inspired by the anime version, not the novel version). Moody, occasionally veering into angsty. Cultivates a dark, mysterious image. Easily embarrassed. One of those people that humiliating things just seem to happen to. Otherwise fairly sane. Also kind of a smartass, but not as bad as Pharaun. Mostly just sarcastic, though. (SHIPPING WARNING: If he's in a fic, he's probably getting shipped with Amelia. Bashers plz to be going elsewhere.)
Demyx: Nobody, number IX of Organization XIII in Kingdom Hearts 2. Musical type, controls water. I've got this whole headcanon history for his Other in my head - if there's high enough demand, I might post it sometime. Be warned, it is NOT CANON. I tend to write him as being a lot smarter than he acts in all of his ten minutes of screentime in the game - hey, he's a Nobody, he has to be a good actor. (SHIPPING WARNING: Generally with Larxene, sometimes with Namine. Yes, I'm into het ships, so sue me. Probably won't post much DemLarx, because I can't ship Larxene and keep her in character >.<)
Matthew: Thief and spy for House Ostia in the seventh Fire Emblem game. Yet another smartass. Usually cheerful, but do NOT mention his dead girlfriend around him. Or Serra, for an entirely different reason. (SHIPPING WARNING: If he's shipped, it's going to be with Leila.)
Leila: The said dead girlfriend. Also a thief and spy, and just as much of a smartass as Matthew. Warning for future writers: do not have two parts of one of your OTPs living in the same head. Especially if they're spies. I keep walking in on them snogging in odd places.
Erk: Mage from Etruria, from the same source as Matthew and Leila. Also can't stand Serra. Mostly sarcastic, like Zel. Another one of those pups that just screams "torture me!", though not as bad as Zel does. (SHIPPING WARNING: Priscilla. I can't help it, they get the only happy paired ending for Priscilla in the whole freaking game! Also have a crossover ship with Ilyana from Path of Radiance.)
Morty: From Pokemon. Gym Leader for Ecruteak City, specializing in Ghost-types. History and mythology buff. Good with kids; likes to teach. One of the few genuinely nice guys I keep around who isn't a smartass. (SHIPPING WARNING: GhoulShipping, which is Pokemon-shipper speak for Morty and Phoebe from Hoenn's Elite Four. I know it's a nevermet!ship, but so are almost any ships involving Gym Leaders, so nyeh. :P)
Ssilissa: An alien girl from the book Larklight. Not really that shabby in a fight despite being a fourteen-year-old girl, at least when she's angry enough. Blue and scaly. Has issues with being in love with someone who's got his eye on someone else, and with not knowing what she actually is or where she's from. (SHIPPING WARNING: Jack Havock, one-sided. Crossover ship with Legolas from LotR, equally one-sided. Her side in both cases.)
Laterose of Noonvale: From Martin the Warrior, the sixth Redwall book. Mouse. Healer. Sweet girl, really. Tends to cry when she's angry. (SHIPPING WARNING: See the title of her book. Also very minor platonic-type crossover ship with Quatre from Gundam Wing.)
Balthier: From Final Fantasy XII. Smartass sky pirate. Ivalice's equivalent of James Bond. Has daddy issues. Hoo boy does he have daddy issues. (SHIPPING WARNING: Fran if anybody, but I don't tend to ship him. Especially not with Ashe. I can see the hints in the game, but it just doesn't make sense to me, sorry.)
Pierakor Az Vinrenn D'rav: From the Ravnica cycle of the Magic: the Gathering books. Angel, soldier, and policeman all at once. Well, police officer; all Ravnican angels seem to be female. Goes by the name of "Feather" for the convenience of everybody else. Speaking of which, occasionally she has trouble with something that happened with the other angels - serious spoilers here; if you know what I'm talking about, you've already read the books. (SHIPPING WARNING: You're kidding, right? Angels are pretty much asexual.)
Jak: From the Jak and Daxter games. Also enjoys being a smartass, but that's mostly because he's only been able to talk for a few years. Gets serious pretty quickly. Actually has quite a lot in common with Zel. (SHIPPING WARNING: Keira, Keira, KEIRA! Come on, if you didn't see this coming you must have played the games with your eyes closed! Mild, platonic crossover ship with Rose from Legend of Dragoon.)
Any and all crossover ships were probably inspired by RPs. These things happen.
